  • Helps to prevent blistering and shrinkage during baking.
  • Totally heat resistant.
  • 100% Reusable.
  • Conduct heat for even pastry baking.
  • Prick the unbaked pastry case with a fork.
  • Cover with baking paper then fill with a layer of Tala baking beans.
  • Pack the beans against the sides as this is where shrinkage is most likely to occur.
  • After baking and when beans have cooled, remove and hand wash in soapy water.
  • Dry and return beans to handy storage container.
  • Contents cover up to 32cm / 13'' flan tin.
